I understand the bait, but seriously though. Not all chicks in wheelchairs who cosplay do it for the attention. A lot of the time its the shitty tumblr bitches who find a photo, claim it to be 'inspiring' and label that cosplayer as a 'handicapable' cosplayer. I know two cosplayer that I follow who have said that they hate when people take their photo and share it to the world about it being so 'good' and 'heartfelt' to see someone in a wheelchair enjoying a hobby. Its like fuck you. Stop treating people in fucking wheelchairs like God damn commodities. Not to say they clearly aren't different and they do draw your eye, but fuck. They don't need a damn pedestal and a clapping crowd.

Basically. It's bad enough to have to go out in a wheelchair and be treated like a retarded doll by the general public. Nobody (expect a very loud and attention-whoring minority) wants to be a Tumblrina's wet dream, but doing anything that suggests you have some sort of agency (even something like wearing makeup despite being ~handicapable~) is a beacon to the Tumblrtards who pass it around like wildfire for 'inspiration'.
Cons are places where everyone in cosplay gets stared at and ridiculed by normies, so you might as well just add some fun to your daily gawking.
