I feel like dolly kei could be more popular if the fashion was a little easier to put together... I've worn both cult party and dolly kei, and finding pieces appropriate for dolly kei is a lot of work. You've got to comb through antique shops and eBay like it's nobody's business, and it's even harder to find antique item that match. Cult party is cheaper, more accessible, more popular, and generally easier in my experience...
