Any gulls going this year? I wonder if it will be any better than last year's con.

Wasn't there a bunch of drama for this con, like them not paying guests? I have ex-friends who liked to pretend they're local con celebs and know they did not get payed.

Also the convention is poorly planned with very little space to even walk around in. It kind of sucks all around, but it's one of the very few con out here。

Colorado Anime Fest year one this year was leaps and bounds better than ALW. I'm sticking to COAF and NDK myself.

Yes this is a shady brand in general. All off the Animeland cons are awful. They're poorly planned, treat guests like shit, and have little to no effort put into them. Stick to either NDK or, as I've heard, Colorado anime fest was good this year. I may check that out if they do a 2017 show.
