If it's ok to selfpost, this is what I'm working on right now. Me and by boyfriend have a huge height difference and we're working on Victor and Victoria. We are still working on costumes and Victoria's wig as expected is giving me troubles, but we already did Victor's. Still have to fix it after we finish the costume. Probably adding spikes.

Unfortunately I haven't seen a single decent cosplay of her yet, I hope to do a good job with the wig because it's honestly scaring me. I'm planning to buy the fabrics really soon and I'm thinking about something similiar to velvet.

Since Kill la Kill is popular maybe there are some wig tutorials for Nui out there that could give you some extra info on getting a somewhat similar shape? You can at least see examples of what not to do.
I imagine the cuffs she has around her pigtails would add a whole other layer of difficulty. It'll definitely be worth it in the end though. Good luck.

Thank you! I'm both following the example of Nui good wigs and Ryoko Demon's Harley Quinn (pic related, I would like my pigtails to look like these but I'm using a balloon for the base). The cuffs are a struggle but also a blessing because I can easily hide the "base" of the pigtails, and also that will be easier to attach to the base wig without the struncture moving. I am making a prop covered with hair, basically.
I really want the BS artbook for more references but I don't know about supporting the censored changes.
