Back when Gankutsuou first came out, there were a handful of cosplayers. I'm honestly surprised it didn't catch on more since the series won like all of the awards that year. I miss Gonzo and their "one really good series and a lot of crap each year" method.

I've been planning on cosplaying Taigong Wang for a while now but (due to a recent surgery that left me housebound for several months) I've gained a lot of weight.

Her name is Bikko, she was ... an original character by some Japanese artist who was going to make a manga around her, but it never came into light. She was very popular on gurochan and those kinda boards. It's probably 10 years ago or something. She got some kickass fanart. Kinda hard to find information about her nowadays.
Alucard all the way. Hellsing is one of my all-time favourite mangas and I love both animes (TV version for nostalgic reasons). That coat tho, you really need to do it right or it'll look real shitty. Doubtful my skill level is up to it, sob.
