Can we have a new inspo thread?
Gonna get new glasses soon, I've got an oval face so I suit most frame styles, so inspo would be great! I'll start with a few.

I need to get simple glasses like this.
They look good with most things, wether it's gothic, sweet or classic.
I like this thread better than the last one already. I hope no one shits it up with a bunch of fashion frames. I'm so sorry I've got nothing to contribute.

what do you even mean by fashion frames? Is there something wrong with having aesthetic glasses?
Shitty walmart-looking wire frames is a huge pet peeve of mine in lolita. It's like, this is a fancy fucking fashion, can you not extend that effort to your glasses?

Fashion frames are glasses that aren't actually used to see/have fake lenses, not just nice frames. It's been brought up in past threads that people are tired of being told "get contacts!" or "take your glasses off for photos!" while there's also a trend lately of wearing fake lenses (particularly those round wireframe ones).

I've seen people say that wire glasses are more lolita appropriate but I have a round chubby face and it looks like the fucking moon with wire/round frames lmao

Go with the bolder rounded-rectangle frames like >>8785084
They can be a bit harder to find at times because there's a huge trend towards slight cats eye and full on cats eye frames, but are a lot more flattering to round faces. There are some with decorative arms that almost look like scrollwork - to me those seem very classic and gothic appropriate, whereas a simple pair in a lighter colour would be better for sweet
