Post feels.
I found a figma they don't make anymore for a great price only to notice I left my wallet on my passenger seat when I was taking out cash for the parking. I was short by 15$ with the change left over from the entry ticket. As you can guess. When I got back it was gone
These are good feels but yesterday at work a girl came in dressed in a very nice quality Victorian blouse, nice riding pants, and boots. She was essentially almost halfway to an ouji coord. So of course I complimented her outfit and she got really excited and thanked me.
A few minutes after that she came back and asked me if I knew the inspiration of her outfit so of course I said ouji because that's what it looked like (later she explained it was Sweeney Todd related). She gave me that normalfag look of confusion and I explained that it was a Japanese fashion similar...

Do you live in Japan? Bootleg figma are very common elsewhere so you might have dodged a bullet. Which figma is it?

Guro Kawaii/Yami Kawaii is a fashion style using guro and horror themes. Menhera is inspired by the manga of the same name.
These are hairpins and here is sauce

This type of make-up looks pretty cute for a over the top outfit.
How would one go about making these syringes? Do you fill it up with resin and glitter, beads, etc?
>What is nanchatte?
Nanchatte Seifuku (translation: Fake Uniform) is Japanese school style worn that started out as students attending schools where uniforms weren't required making their own uniforms and expanded into everyday girls fashion. Since then worn by women and men for nostalgia for those wanting to relive their carefree school days.
Some topic inspo:
>Have you worn nanchatte yet? If so, is it for conventions or daily use?
>In Japan there are nanchatte groups...

Previous one was bumped off the board thanks to a certain someone.
Discuss cosplay plans, outfit help, fabric prints, etc.
Has anyone done the album art outfits?
oh hey, i was actually wondering -- are there any outfit sets you guys want to see cosplayed more? i wanna do a kunoichi umi sometime but other than that i'm looking for some ideas
>>8862674
Constellation, Seven Lucky Gods and Magician are some of my favourite sets.
>>8862678
Oh same.
I've done Seven Lucky Gods Maki, doing the Magician card in a few months.
I planned on doing Constellation Hanayo, but I have a friend who made her entire Honoka cosplay and it was impressive but painful to watch.
I imagine the new Fairy set is going to get a few cosplays, have yet to see any plans.
Is it too soon for a Sakura-Con thread? About a month and a half left. What are your plans, anons?
I don't think so? I don't have to many plans so far since not much information has been released. I'm thinking about seeing Band-Maid.
im so excited to go...
Lots of idols lol that's my plans
Facebook fan pages, selling prints, and now patreon. What do you think the next money grabbing, attention whoring trend will be in the cosplay community?
>those bdsm shoes
this is what nightmares are made of

I'm surprised there aren't more cosplayers getting that twitch money.
Like, I know some twitch sluts "cosplay" casually, but what I mean is the other way around.
ok lets talk about the worst con of the year. I heard they got misako aoki as the lolita guest @ pgh comm - good luck and don't fuck it up...
What makes you say it's the worst con of the year?
>>8886317
From what I've seen on the lolita side of things, they want $50 for the tea party and misako's not even going to be at it. Which is weird cause it's happening at the same location that the winter ILD tea party was held which was only $30 and it had the same number of tickets available.
On the con side of things, I kind of agree with >>8886323. What makes it the worst con of the year? I haven't been able to go to it since 2010 and back then it...

it is a small con that is still growing but I've attended for quite a few years and I can't see how it is the "worst con of the year" at all.
you sound bitter
My reaction folder got corrupted, can we please have a lolita reaction thread?
>>8894030
In honor of Walter let's have a thread dedicated to our animal friends.
Post Animals in cosplay and cosplays that include animals
I can't get enough bunnies.
>>8891748
awwwww
The site where I usually buy is pinky paradise, but I wanted to see other options and to know where do you buy yours.
I buy mine mainly from Uniqso and Honeycolor
Guess this will be the next Lens thread?
I don't want this thread to die, as I'm also interested. I only know of pinky paradise because they usually sell the best ones for cosplay and general wear imo
I always buy at solution-lens.
The website isn't pretty, but the lenses and selection are great.
Also the best deals and prices I've encountered so far.
So we're bashing photographers again.
Cosplayers have a shit fit when people tell them what to cosplay. But, photographers have to shoot every single cosplayer, regardless of interest.
Discuss this bullshit.
From a photographer's perspective, I sort of get not wanting to shoot something/someone. Photographers are free to photograph whatever or whoever they want. If you want to take pictures exclusively of assholes, you can do that.
Personally, I really don't want to spend hours of my life shooting and editing someone that put zero effort into their cosplay. I really don't care if my models are gorgeous, just as long as they're trying. As long there's some effort put in, I can go from there.
>>8887363
Man, fuck Misa on Wheels. If I want to shoot only the most gorgeous, nude cosplay girls 24 hours a day, then I'm "awesome" too.
Photogs really need to come together and stick up for ourselves like the cosplayers do.
>>8887363
We already have "specialty" photographers pooping up who choose to photograph cosplayers of dark skin only and even they have standards of what to shoot
>$4.99
Would you buy this?
>>8885759
>that fabric
I wouldn't spit on it.
Look like Halloween costumes, but yeah, it's $5 so I might consider it if i could flip through it first. Might be good for a laugh and a random tip or two could actually be good.
>>8885759
>dat random Jane
is Tarzan that popular?
This girl will represent Germany at the ESC this year and is advertised as "an anime-fan who loves to stitch her own clothes".
I'm not familiar with the effort needed for cosplay, but she looks cheap for me. On a 0-10 scale, how well-made are they?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGep0qfqED0
>>8885279
She has a really nice voice, but could she please leave her weeb self back-stage?
Changing little things on a cosplay to make it more modest? Yay or nay?
The OP pic is the only clear example I could find, but I mean stuff like; making a skirt a bit longer, or instead of thigh high stockings, just a full panty hose.
>>8885103
If it makes you feel more comfortable, then absolutely do it.
I agree with >>8885173, being comfortable is pretty important.
Not exactly related to modesty but... I cosplay a character that wears knee socks, but I hate my knees so I usually wear over the knee ones. Is it technically innacurate? Yes. But it makes me feel better and more confident.
Anime Conji's gone, but Hanadoki's still here this year. Any seagulls planning on going to San Diego in March?
I live about 10 minutes away so I'll definitely be stopping by on at least one of the days if not all of them depending on my work schedule. I spoke with the staff at ALA, they seem very kind and have a lot of optimism towards the convention so I'm actually pretty excited to see how it all pans out.
Of course.
Yep
Any artists in the alley gonna be selling Osomatsu-san shit? I'm looking to blow a bunch of money on that stuff senpai
Also I'm gonna be cosplaying Totty so matsu cosplayers hmu too
