I posted this last thread-- I heard Clobba will have some extra of the moth prints! I'm excited, so I hope all the other gulls who wanted the print will get it, too.

Pic related is a picture of the rave at kaiju-con. At some points in the night, there were as many as 5 people in the rave! I feel so, so bad for the DJ.
Kaiju-con was a con in Nashville TN last year, I was an artists and barely made profit. There were large amount of times when the artist alley/dealers room was completely empty of attendees. Saturday was the only day when there were more attendees than staff and vendors at the con at one time.
The con itself was honestly not too bad, good panels and such, there were just literally no people. You shouldn't charge full price for a first year con honestly.
Ohayocon is the worst, closely followed by Otakon, and then Colossalcon.
IDK why Ohio even bothers having cons anymore, because they're all shit. Otakon is just too big for the venue. Hopefully the move fixes shit.

There's no content. The game room is awesome, and the Kalahari is cool, but there is no content as far as the con goes. Shitty dealers selling all the same bootleg merch, no good panels, retarded staff, no guests, etc.
The only way you can enjoy the con is if you play games and drink the whole time.

I still think Connecticon is better, though I guess the cosplays here were alright. I missed a few good pics, though I'm more surprised I got acknowledged for cosplaying a show I thought maybe 3 people had read or watched.

it's mostly failing models going into cosplay tbf and sexualizing nearly everything out there, or wearing sexy cosplays because it will get them likes. literally zero interest in the fandom/character they are cosplaying.
