I can help out. I only have the 2nd season of Oreimo though. I'm somewhat good with FFmpeg and Avidemux.
Not really sure what scenes/moments to convert to WebMs with hardcoded subtitles but I believe the resultant WebM should be 360p and high quality like WebM related.
Thoughts, suggestions for which scenes/moments to turn into WebMs?

I'll try and find short scenes/moments to convert to WebMs. If you or any anons can point me to specific times in season 2 episodes to convert to WebMs then I'd greatly appreciate it.
Most Oreimo rips will probably sync up good enough so I'll start naming the WebMs like the example in >>2662834 too.

Episode 15 WebM extract successful. Gonna work on episode 9 now. Though the time frame seems to be wrong, did you mean 21:48 - 22:05? That time frame starts with "And thus, the curtain..." and ends with "...to help each other".

Sadly, I don't have a subtitled version at hand to verify, but here's the first frame of the scene. Pretty much the last part before the credits.

Heh yeah, WebMs are great. Downside is you have to know how to use FFmpeg. You can't just set a CRF for VP8 like you can with H264 so you have to baby it around with FFmpeg parameters. Still the results are worth it.

It would look a little better if the file same was the same. Though without subs it feels incomplete. For relatively the same quality file size wouldn't be reduced much, it'd probably go down to ~2.5MB at most.

It's cool I was able to extract it. Guess the rips differ a bit but time frames are close enough. I got the scene from time frame 23:18 - 23:34 from my rip [EveTaku].

Here. Christ, VP8 is a fucking blocky mess. If VP9 were allowed, this would be in 1080p at the same file size.

Anyone know where I can get just the subtitles for the season 1 commentaries? ANE's release doesn't have them apparently...BakaBT has them uploaded as an attachment but it's not really worth making an account just to download a 122kb zip file of subs unless there's no other options
Feed me timecodes for ANE's S1 or Coalgirls S2 and i'll 1080 webm them. I already made a bunch for the kuroneko lovers awhile back

Never, the show pretty much ended as a cliff hanger as intended. However I speculate they lead dual lives where they fugged in secret and had friends on the side.
