I'm attracted to a lot of anime girls, many of them are cute, several have attractive personalities... but Akane is probably the only anime character I can legitimately claim that I have ever had a real crush on.

First of all, she's just so goddamn cute. But that doesn't solely define her character at all. She's got strong convictions, she's got her own way of seeing society. And while she's opinionated, she's also fully willing to compromise if it leads to a better outcome. Most importantly, when the moments calls for her to be a total badass, she's ready at a moments notice. She's really smart and quick thinker, she's super empathetic, she has grand goals but she never ignores the reality of a situation. She's just really admireable in so many ways.

This intense, passionate desire of hers to make things "right" is honestly the hottest thing about her. I kinda idolize her, and not in the silly Japanese idol sense, but in the sense of admiring her greatly.

So I guess it's not weird then that one of my favorite kind of poses of Akane's is her in her cop-clothes, aiming down the barrel of her dominator. Not even just from an aesthetic perspective, but it is legitimately awesome to see her like that... administering justice. But usually not through actually firing her dominator.
