Supposedly her jimmies are rustled because someone called her a fox, so she said something like there is a difference! A fox wouldnt leave(assuming she's referring to hibernation) and that she is a raccoon dog, not a fox?

Foxes are said to like fried tofu, and people possessed by foxes are said to crave the same foods foxes like. There's also the fact that aburaage in particular look like they have little fox-ears when you stuff them full of rice, so sushi made in that style is called "Inari" and noodles made with aburaage are referred to as "kitsune-soba/udon".
