Rewatch the series and pay attention. There's a reason she does the things she does and acts the way she acts; it's actually Ami that fucks everything up for no reason other than to improve her standing, and had she stayed out then things would have resolved both more quickly and smoothly.
Mimorin is not crazy. If you think she's legitimately crazy then you've completely failed to understand her character.
I'm not sure where to draw the line between orange, pink and strawberry blonde, but it probably won't matter
