No. People enjoy different things. It's no different than people drawing characters wearing outfits that don't match their style or with different hairdos just because its their favorite kind.
Ruri is also a known Cosplayer. Thus it's not unlikely to find her wearing glasses with false lenses.

It's nice to see a girl with standards. But the flip side of this is that she's very loyal to her friends if you meet those criteria, and she's very sweet to the one she loves.

I hate chuuni shit but for some reason I find hers to be endearing. I love that one moment she can be incredibly shy but the next she can act like she runs the whole town. Maybe it's that tsundere-ish type of flip that makes her so endearing in my eyes; she's pretty complex in her own way.
