Whoever drew that piece of fanart actually got it all correct. Venom has an eye patch over his right eye. If it was placed over his left, that would be wrong.
Secondly, your rationale as for why it was supposedly wrong in the first place is needlessly pedantic. There doesn't need to be any connection for a crossover to take place, otherwise the majority of all crossover fanart wouldn't exist. This is called artistic license.
I don't see you pointing out the same variation in the other pictures in this thread (I see at least one at a glance), but somehow this one detail prompted you to single it out.

And Asuka has an eye patch over her left. This leads to a situation where it's wrong no matter what happens. The best way you can try and wave it off is with "lol just pretend it's Soryu" and we both know that's not the intent.

There is exactly 1 other example of the eyepatch being placed over the wrong eye in this thread, and that is after the bullshit that came from you and at least one other getting your panties in a twist over nothing more than pointing out something wrong with one image.

Then the placement of the eye patch was never the issue here. You would have said that the picture was in the wrong regardless if it was over the left or the right eye, contradicting what you said earlier that it should have been on the left.
All that aside, the artist intentionally chose to portray Asuka in Venom's visage. Attempting to assign some arbitrary artistic authority to a piece of fanart is akin to ascending the Penrose stairs. You feel self-righteous in doing it, but it never leads anywhere.

There is no explicit evidence indicating if it was Soryu or Shikinami that was being portrayed in the artwork. Therefore, it is up to the viewer's interpretation.

the printing in der sterne isn't top notch to begin with, and a lot of illustrations (like this one) are sharing page space with other images. but on top of that whoever scanned it did so at an enormous resolution but without the proper color and contrast or any descreening. it's not a rare or expensive book either so idk why no ones ever gone back and rescanned it. There are some neat illustrations in it that don't have other sources

Actually I meant finding a girl like Asuka and marrying her. Yeah, I know I'm going to get a lot of shit for this but I'm too in love with her, and she can't love me back as of now.
Since I think that waifu is my personal idea of a perfect woman and Asuka's already exceptionally human-like and realistic for an anime character, I figure it's not as stupid of an idea. Then again, a lot of people think completely different.
