Lost 1k in vanguard funds and $20 in robinhood.
Not because they were bad investments, they'd all been doing well for 7 years straight, but because the bull market is dying.

Made 500 dollars with the Martingale strategy in online Roulette, which I read about here.

The way to play roulette is to bet 0,00, 3, 7, 11, 12, 13, 16 and 23.
These are biblical numbers but they are positioned uniquely on an American wheel.
When none of these numbers have not come up after 7 spins, place all 9 bets for 4 spins in a row.

with martingale you only ever win very small sums at once, so if you want to make decent money you have to play a lot.
but if you play roulette a lot then you will at some point encounter a very unlucky streak - then you reach a point where you can no longer keep doubling your bet after a loss because you either dont have enough cash, or because you reached the casinos bet limit.
when that happens you lose a TON of money.
