50k is plenty, believe me. You'll have enough for random impulse purchases, and you'll be able to afford a 2 br apartment and a nice car. (unless living expenses are insane near you). If you don't save, your impulse spending habits will be of a larger magnitude and it will be harder to save when you become accustomed to living in an empty 5br house and drive a beamer(or Audi), like literally everyone else making 6 figs.
Difference between you and then, in 10 years, will be you having a large nest egg to help with making all the purchases you need to start a family, without needing to rely heavily on credit/mortgages/loans. And if not family, in 10 years you'll be able to take 3 month vacations to anywhere and actually enjoy life like it was meant to be enjoyed.

Same scenario. my dad made 500K+ eurobux a year for most of his carreer now. After a full day in his practice he often comes home with 3500+ cash in his wallet, of which he would report 2000 to the tax administration and keep the 1500 to buy pretty much whatever he wanted.
I'm gonna start a job in banking next year where for the first 2 years I will probably not make monthly what he earns daily.

Self made Gorillionaire is a lofty goal. You've got to cut out a piece of a few trillion dollar industries. or build a billion dollar industries. Scaling and leverage is really important.
And if this is your goal you've really got to live on about 30k a year and build up that warchest. You're gonna want to own a portfolio of core businesses. Their cashflow can fuel speculative investments in tech or other high growth startups.
You're gonna need to take a few of the wins from these spec investments and go Musk nuts, and take all kinds of tax money to subsidize your crazy ideas.
