What if I enjoy helping people? Can't I just make a reasonable amount of money without leeching off of wealthy folk?
I ask because I'm currently interviewing for Advisor Ahead's resident financial advisor program and am worried I'll hate myself if I just end up being a parasite taking advantage of people.
Ok... Yes you can help people. With out taking advantage of them. But your income will be less than the guys bleeding them for every red cent.

No, they deal with helping people manage their money on a wide variety of things--not just investments. Brokering may very well be part of their job, but so is helping them decide what house they can buy, helping a company expand, etc.
