Does this guy know what the fuck he's talking about?
>>

His job is to entertain. If he knew what he was talking about he wouldn't have to act like a clown to make money.
>>
>>972048
he's one of the smartest guys in the room
that being said, never trust the smartest guy in the room

He's actually a very intelligent person with regards to finance and is very successful.

However, that has fuck all to do with his show and the advice he gives on it.

As said above, his main job is to be entertaining, mainly with sensationalist claims.

There was an article posted in one of the previous threads about him that said you'd be down over 40% in the past three years if you invested solely based off of his show.

It has been leaked that he doesn't follow any of his show's investing advice and even shorts some of the stock picks that he gives his viewers.

TLDR: The show is shit and there is no reason to watch it if you're not a dumb fucking boomer

He borrowed $500K and returned $150K in 2 years. He was then a hedge fund manager for 12 years and only had 1 year of negative returns. He averaged 24% a year. He then went to CNBC but still managed a trust fund that averages 31.75% a year.

Anybody who doesn't respect this guy is a retard. Of course you aren't going to make money taking his advice on Mad Money though. The things he talks about he has probably already invested in weeks before. CNBC does not permit Cramer to buy or sell any security he has spoken about on CNBC for the trust for five days following the broadcast.

sources point to asking again later

Ask Jon Stewart

His investing trackrecord is terrible. I can't find the article.
But he makes tons of money on books, media appearances and newsletters.

TLDR: Terrible investor, great salesman.

He is primarily there to entertain you.
>>
>>972048

he made himself millions of dollars.

that doesn't mean he helps anyone, he just makes stock picking less boring
