Is it possible to make a decent living doing freelance programming/web development? I'm a NEET/hikki and this is the only thing I can think of.

Seems faulty to me. Some people work better in different environments. I had a position where I could work from home and was more efficient than I was at work. I have also known plenty of people who would use it either for good and work another job at the same time, or work on a skill, or for bad and would fuck off and waste their lives away anyways instead of doing it in an office setting.

Just make sure you know enough jquery, and do your research on backends and e-commerse platforms. If you are familiar with all of the above, then you're golden
