Yes, I used local coins, via money gram... I just thought that I got scammed since the vendor tool forever to process it, just make sure they have good feedback

I'm in Korea, and they don't currently support my ID for verification.

I know a lot of people in Korea who use 'Circle' for bitcoins. They will use Korbit to buy BTC with Korean Won then send from Korbit (a Korean service) to Circle (American service) and use Circle to exchange to USD.
I'm planning to do this when i return to korea in a couple weeks.

How much do you pay on the spread with this method?
Is it more efficient than won to dollars at say a bank?
>>963310
Since i've been out of korea for a while i havent used it for a bit but recently because of the whole Bitcoin spike and fall there was a large spread between the KRW/USD and how much a bitcoin would go for each...I think currently it might be more efficient to do a bank transfer at the moment but dont take my word for it.
if anyone is looking at this thread, I'm interested in the /biz/ take on the fork
