Macroeconomics as long as your professor isn't a fucking Keynesian economist. Neoclassical or bust.

Macro kind of explains some decisions of how the herd mind thinks when it comes to resources while micro focuses more on an individual's decision based on his current environment

Most state universities go into basic calculus (as long as you know how to optimize you're good) with their advanced micro/macro classes but you'll be fine if it's an elective. For the elective classes I believe intro to micro was more practical for my everyday life but macro helped me better understand how our country works
