Can we have a proper trading thread edition
This thread is meant for topics regarding trading/investing in stocks, futures, index, options, forex, and anything else I might have forgotten to mention.
Welcome: traders
Not welcome: anyone who doesn't want to improve their trading or discuss trading
I don't come on /biz/ too often but there never seems to be a trading general here.
So what are you guys up to? You guys trading anything interesting? NZDUSD looks like it might reverse for the next week, might be shorting that soon.

MGT is looking pretty good right now. Looks like takeoff is imminent.

Do you recommend any stock brokers?
I trade forex and I've been reading on stocks, might open up an account to invest in stocks.

Depends on where you live, I live in Europe so I'm using degiro. Mainly because it allows you to buy US stocks so I can buy the meme stocks. If you live in the USA you should obviously go with Robinhood.

I live outside the US, not Europe though, would degiro still be a good broker?
>>1377327
I think degiro is Europe only. Have no clue about eastern brokers.

I like where your head's at but I've realized through experience that shorting the NZD is playing with fire. Relatively small supply combined with a high interest rate and apparently no real need for the kiwis to cheapen their currency.
Here's my "pumpkin" chart. It's still trending in the short-term and the mod-term. It busted through its' last hard resistance and consolidated; not exactly a bearish sign. It has the momentum, but hey so did Bernie Sanders before Hillary snatched the top spot.
I posted some more charts if you like Forex see here >>1376083
theres news there might be a bottom in milk prices so idk about shorting nzd... better to short euro or yen soonish
