Alright, /biz/. You guys are smart and think outside the box and I'm kinda losing it. I'm having a really bad time. My finances have fallen apart in the last few weeks. I lost my job last friday and have a $378 traffic citation to pay on the 16th. I had the money...but another stroke of bad luck hit me two days ago when my 3 month old kitten's leg got crushed in my front door. After a $700 vet bill...I have next to no money left. I have no family to ask either. I wouldn't mind letting the ticket go unpaid and taking the jail time but my kitten won't have anyone to take care of her. The only thing of value I have is my ps4 which is posted on Craigslist for $325, but no one is biting. I dont know what to do, guys. What are my options? Advice appreciated.

Don't put yourself in charge of a life for selfish reasons if you have less than a thousand dollars in the bank.

This sounds like a parody of what's going on with Deutsche Bank right now

>Own pet
>Can't afford for self
You already fucked up
Eat the cat and save a few trips to the grocery store.

the ticket was unavoidable, that shit happens.
But the thing about pets, is they do get sick and hurt, but when it happens it's a big bill.
Drive for UBER or Lyft on the weekends. A weekend drive hustle could get you some quick cash.
Also just ask around your neighborhood, put a flyer on the bulletin board, "Handy man looking for odd jobs and small tasks in the neighborhood". You'd be surprised what you can get.

First off. It's not just the base console. its this one plus 6 games. I think that's more than reasonable.

Ask your parents for a loan
Go to bank as for a loan for $500
You don't have a job?

Secondly, I didn't blindly just take in the cat. It was a stray around my apartment. About 4 weeks after it was born the mother was hit by a car. So I took it in and fed it from a bottle. The plan was to put it back out after it was big enough to survive on its own. but 1) I got attached after serving as its stand-in mother and 2) It is now at a significant disadvantage to the neighborhood dogs with its lame leg. I can't simply let the cat be defenseless and unable to runaway.

price is fair but remember you're on cucklist
no goy wants to pay a fair price.
If you get an offer for $300m forget the $2 & sell it.

Did you read the post? Im not trying to be rude, but no family and I lost my job last Friday. I've spent the last week applying for positions but nothing has happened yet. Also, no proof of income, no loan. Its a predicament I know. My folly was not preparing better for a crisis.

>$300m
$300*
I'm playing too much Runescape

I already planned to do that. 300 would help alot

I suggest applying for unemployment. This is what government benefits are for. You use the benefits for a few weeks or months until your situation improves. You can get help with food stamps and unemployment money. This is the point of society and the programs that the government put in place. Apply your ass off for good jobs while you get unemployment.

Thanks.. Im doing this. I feel bad about it. I really do. I dont want welfare. But it seems unavoidable. I'm a patriot, its gonna kill me. lol

Anon, you're in desperate situation and you're in no postition to ask fair price for your PS4
You have a couple of choices
get a payday loan which I don't recommend.
Get a small personal loan from a local credit union as they're the most generous with their loan criteria
My best advice would Open up a credit card with a sign up bonus. Most CCs get to you fast typically within 5 business days. Charge up everything, get current with the bills, cash in points to bring down the balances all the while looking to get rid of your PS4 and find a job.

Thanks, I needed a reality check. I was looking for an easy way out. I guess this is what I'll do. Thanks, anon.

Sorry op, but I'm going to be a heartless, but truthful, bastard.
That kitten is a net loss. You need to cut your losses. It seems like no matter what you do that cat is going to die. Logically, it is better to not waste more money on something that is going to die in the short run no matter what you do. I suggest watching it go to sleep then calmly breaking its neck.
Then its time to find a job for your sorry ass.

*Then it's time
Point still stands. Go into stores and ask for a job, walk around the mall, look for anything and everything that says "now hiring".
