It's held pretty stable. Back like 3 years ago there were a bunch of other shitcoins just like there are now. Of them litecoin is the only that is still relevant. It was silver to bitcoins gold, and imo still is. Price jumped to $20 at one point. Also is scrpyt coin so more resistant to asics. I have a hundred or so that I'm going to keep. I bought them for around $3 a coin I think. It's nothing special, but I don't think it's going anywhere.

I personally think it's going to have another run up. Coinbase is adding it to their site, and in China it is still a major player. If bitcoin has a large run up, I expect people who missed the boat will buy lite coin. I believe we'll likely see $20 a coin in the next 12 months.

That's great. I kind of want to buy more, but nearly every altcoin trade I would have been better off just buying bitcoin. They can fade into oblivion so fast.

I think it does make sense to have a secondary currency that isn't worth as much. Buy a car with btc, buy a sandwhich with ltc. Microbits kind of nullify this though.
