Hijacking this thread briefly. My bank can offfer me a 100k loan at about 6-7% per annum.
What could go wrong if I invest that into a fund (HVST) australian btw, that nets me about 12% dividends per year paid out monthly?

Go for it, it'll be a cheap lesson. You generally shouldn't invest borrowed money incase you lose it all.... Have an emergency fund and savings then any money left over use that for investing.
