So, /biz/, i have almost finished my sci-fi novel. I want them published and i tried very hard to make it pretty awsome. If they get published (not in english) what are the chances of success? Is it a smart bussiness investment? How many % of the the prices does the autor of the book get? I know it's different in every country but still, how is it in the USA for example? And in the European countries?
Can you make money with publishing a book?

Publishers are usually open about their %tages. Its all online, for technical books they give 10% of profits, miserable.

Youre better off self publishing on Amazon for 70% of the profit, and spending a grand to shill your book.
