litecoin uses a different process than bitcoin.
ASICs are designed for the bitcoin process, meaning that they are useless for mining anything that mines on a different process. Litecoin is Scrypt, Bitcoin is SHA-256. You need to buy a Scrypt miner. Also mining feathercoin would get you more money
