How does one move to a new city?
I live in a small, shitty town with little opportunity, let alone the fact how depressing it is living here.
I don't have too much in savings, only 280 pounds.
I imagine many /biz/nessmen have either went through this or are wondering the same thing

I guess just have enough for a bus ticket to a metropolitan city. Maybe look up some shelters or have enough to stay at a cheap hotel until you find work. Or arrange work in advance

Only thing I'd add is to find a transitional living complex (or whatever the fuck they're calling it), a place that rents to corporate types and people staying 1-3 months. It'll be more expensive than an apartment, but you only have to stay a couple months in order to meet better people and learn what area of the city you want to live in.
