This one's easy to do with day/swing trading.
Open a limited margin account with a discount broker. Just kind of watch for good stocks and set a decent limit to buy in at. Buy low and sell high. You can do 3 day trades in 5 business days, so after you use those up start swing trading. Buy low one day, sell high the next.
If you're smart and play low-risk you'll win some days and lose other days, but overall you'll probably get to your goal relatively easy by the end of the month.
