hey /biz/

how do you personally deal with being a wage slave? i'm investing nearly all my money into passive income streams, but it's still hard for me to get through the days.

Systems thinking not goals based thinking.
Sure the goal is to reach cashflow escape velocity.

Building and tweaking and refining the system to get there is the behavior you need to practice and enjoy.

When the goal is a shifting target like your retirement date, moving it closer and closer is important.

Enjoy the half of your life you're not working. If you're working more than half of your day, get a different job. If you're working weekends, get a different job. If you only have 2 weeks paid vacation, get a different job.

You can live a perfectly comfy and fulfilling life as a wage slave. At some point it's hard to justify that your life would be better sitting on your couch 24/7 than it would be at work for 9 of those hours.

care to share about those passive income streams, how that work for you?

i have been slacking at my job for a while, 10+ years, browsing 4chan and shit and i wonder what i would do if my cozy job would go away (and i have to face it it probably will within the next 10 years)... so i need a fully working PLAN B.

i tried to do a few things but i am not sure it will work out. i will grow and dry eatable mushrooms to sell locally/online. i bought a grow lamp , wonder what i could grow indoors that could be of interest, maybe some interesting houseplants for the local market. but yea as you can imagine these 2 little projects won't bring a lot of moolah.
i am growing food in the garden that should last me a while, like beans and winter squash : indirectly that will make things easier for me... will free at least some money for me to spend on a form of escapism or... maybe investing in a new project. I think i will get on pot when it will be legal here: i will have a leg up on the local competition because of we know how to do business for a long time and have good credit so i think i could hold my own against a possible competition.

>a fully working PLAN B.
Nothing is every fully working from the very beginning. If you have good ideas and the drive - start right away (seems like you already have).
>>
i don't
never worked a day in my life, just sit on my btc and watch it grow and make money off youtube, like 300 bucks a month and i fuck beautiful russian escorts and stay in shape at the gym

What passive income streams are you investing in?
>>
>>1350370
not OP but unmanaged index funds are the obvious choice if you're not confident in outperforming the market
>>
I don't.

I started my own business. I'd never go back to working for someone else. Fuck that shit.

What kind of business?

I get disability and looking for some untaxed supplemental income.
