If you're only making minimum wage, you are better off just focusing on bringing in more income... maybe pick up more hours or find a better job or something. The average investor that knows a little bit probably makes around 7% per year. Since you're asking this, I'm assuming something like 2% is more likely for you. So if you invest around $200 or something like that then there is no point.
Or you could research jobs that pay more.

You can easily find a job paying $11-12 hourly if you just shop around.
