Why on earth would you need to diversify with a few k?
VTSAX and STFU. Focus on earning more money rather than chasing an extra 5% of $5k.

Long oil (3-5 year play)
Then I put a few thousand of my portfolio to chasing memes on the Robin hood threads, cryrpo etc
RIght now I'm in a few pharm pennys and Trumpcoin.
