I'm looking for an app or programme to record stock, purchasing price, sales price. Hopefully with added parts to record tax, shipping costs, promotional expenses etc.

I realise 99% of /biz/ only have $2 to their name and just shitpost about online currencies that have no real value but hopefully there's some other successful people out their browsing.

I sell around 30+ items a week and obviously import the same amount. I want to keep better track for tax purposes but also it would be good to see what my most profitable items are and what needs to be culled.

I've looked on the android app store but 90% seem to be garbage.

Ill check back on the thread later on. Thanks in advance.

I wrote a Windows application that does that. But Android is too much of an undocumented basketcase to do an app version.

What's your application

Any excel formula or anything? Anyone here actually running businesses or is biz really just all poor fags with $10 worth of bitcoins?

It's not online so you can't really look it up.

Also the tax part still requires a SQL Server license. I mean it'll record sales tax but the federal stuff (profit/loss, inventory endpoints, etc) is a little more complicated logic-wise so I haven't translated it out of SQL yet.

Basically, if you want to strip it down to an Excel workbook, you need two worksheets. One is purchases - an ID, a date, a count, a per unit price, and a flag for fixed (equipment, rent, etc) vs inventory. The other is for sales - an ID (linking to the other sheet), a date, a count, and an end price. From there you can get pretty much any figure you need.

Try turning it on and off again
