Best time/way to invest in bitcoin?
I have ~10k dollars hanging around and want to give them some use.
Can invest in other places too if you think it's better, but avoid stock market since I'm not a US citizen.

Spend some money on DAO tokens, the soft fork may be the saving grace for DAO & Ethereum

Brazil, sadly.
Going to look for it.

I don't see any good reason to buy DAO. Just the fact that something went cheap doesn't mean it's cheap *for its value*

I think Bitcoin is a good idea. Buy whenever an uptrend starts.
Here is a logarithmic long-term view:

Best time is always now.
Best way, just find any decent exchange and go for it.
Save the coins in a local wallet. Hold for 10 years then retire as a Bitcoin mogul.

Buy Monero.

I'm waiting till bitcoin halves. There has to be a lot of profit taking involved. I hope to buy in the low 500's

Don't need to put in much, some a little. It's at 3 cents, imagine if it hits a dollar
I like localbitcoins but it might not be an option because you're international. >>1337833 is wrong though. Bitcoin has a fairly stable cycle as its assets are limited by nature of the platform. It steadily increases in price and the market bubbles. Then, some Bitcoin backed market will crash (MT GOX) or Chinese people will sell a lot at once and the bubble pops. The market recovers and then stabilizes at a price higher than it was when it first began to inflate. The data is limited but this has happened twice in the past three years, and we're approaching another bubble as prices rise to new all time highs.
