Why do rich people put their kids in this school?
Don't they realize how pointless a Music degree is?
Rich kids dont care, they do what they love. Their kids however will have to get real jobs because they will blow what their grandfather worked for.

A degree from Julliard has the same level of prestige as Harvard. I've seen a lot of these kids working in wall street and corporate America.

my gf is gettin a music degree. she is the youngest daughter of a large family, and an utterly spoiled little brat.
but she is a damn good musician, and well aware of the fact that her degree is pretty shit lol. doing an internship at a radiostation now and will probably get some job in the music industry. could be worse i guess.
One becomes a successful musician by touring your ass off in shitty clubs across the nation and earning emough fan respect to not get pirated out the ass

If the faculty is prestigious enough it might pay off in connections.
Though that's probably hit or miss to the point that there is little point to pay for it.
