I inherited a cottage at a scenic spot. For sentimental reasons, I don't want to sell it, but renting it would mean keeping an eye on the tenants at a time when I want to travel.
Is there a way to rent a place out remotely, or delegate the process to someone else?
Pic is from google but looks similar
Similar situation with a beachside house from my grandma. I rent the place out and stay there sometimes if I'm in the mood or having a party. If you're not close by you need someone else do deal with that shit.
find a property manager
if other houses are nearby there is probably a guy who already takes care of some

That's illegal.
Don't be a faggot and sell the thing. Either that, or rent it out for weekends, or 7 day trips at a higher than normal rental price (think airBNB).
Then put the money that you saved in some safe investments, and retire.

you could do Sabbatical Rentals, I do that with my mom for our old house, rent for like 3-6 months at a time. Most people will pay pretty well for a nice place. We get like 1000 $ a week.

Its an investment, not a fucking teddy bear. Either find a way to monetize it or sell it and invest the profit.

We used to do Airbnb, but they take a large bit of coin depending on how long the rental is, but try them to see who actually wants to rent the place.

Do you know anything about how I should monetize it, or are you just here to dispense moral wisdom?
