Stocks work by % change, and any profits / investment work in a compounding interest basis.

Well brexit has already happened, so you can't take advantage of that, but gold might go up in the near future if this triggers a reaction from central banks. GDX, GDXJ are still really low and gold is headed a lot higher eventually.

you've seen a minor correction in the world's stock prices, barring gold, the us dollar, and the japanese yen.
find a few companies you like that went down during brexit, and buy them for cheap.
not saying buy these, but i think smith and wesson, and blizzard activision are two strong companies.
if you're looking to swing trade or day trade, just trade the SPY weekly options. find an uptrend or
downtrend, ride it for a few hundred dollars, then get out without being too greedy.
