I've read that it'll take you 1 - 2 years of consistent effort to even get noticed a little. Best have a side gig while you build this blog up.
You don't need as big of an audience as you think in order to make a living.
Too many variables to say anything particular about your situation because we don't know your niche.
Ultimately the attention you attract will generate money organically, but you also need to make sales.
