--FAQs for Robinhood--
Visit the website first - www.robinhood.com
If you're not into robinhood - http://www.stockbrokers.com/offers
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
> If I have Robinhood do I need to worry about 'Free riding' violations?
No, its not applicable for limited margin accounts (instant), and if you don't have instant, RH won't let you buy with unsettled funds
> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?
Yes, download an android emulator. Setup is extremely easy. http://www.memuplay.com/

alright guys here ya go
>>
>>1331506
>>1331481

You guys ought to remember not everyone on this board is a weaboo.

I agree >>1331524 PTX needs actual news before it goes anywhere real. I'm not really sure what to expect from my watchlist because we'll get the actual BREXIT announcement tomorrow and i think IN is already priced in. Today things were excessively green and I wouldnt doubt a down day as people relax. A lot of stocks on my watchlist are about due for a crash, I'm looking at $CLF, $SGY, $XCO to me seems overvalued, $TPLM ready to come down,

I think the most interesting stocks for tomorrow on my list are all bio stocks. KMPH and ARRY both have had a recent reversal and are building some momentum. $GALE is especially interesting on my list. Its down from a solid week/month based on a "Zachs article" which we all know dont hold water. I'm going to watch that one closely, I already picked up 450 shares on the dip.

>>1331547
$TPLM. Don't buy it tomorrow, wait for it to crash again. 0.32, 0.33 are both good buy ins. If you want a quick flip, sell at 0.37 or 0.36. If youre patient you can sell in the .4s but is it really worth waiting a week?

>>
>>1331672
What's the news on GEVO?
>>
>>1331674
>Potential for growth
$GEVO has never made money, not once. Net loss of $150 million in the last three years. They've had a finished product for over a year and no one is interested in buying enough for them to be profitable because it costs too much to make. Even if they meet their projection and get cost down to $3/gallon, they still won't sell enough to stay afloat. Biofuels have been sold in the marine industry for a decade and only a small percentage of boaters actually pay the premium to use them (I am a boater myself) and its hard to find stations that even sell the fuel if you wanted to pay the extra for it.

I'm just saying this company has no way to actually make money and unless oil jumps to $125/barrel, $GEVO is floating towards bankruptcy. Anyone whose done DD on the company already knows this. I have 1000 shares myself right now but I'm just riding the wave, selling on open. I think this stocks volume is almost entirely day/swing/gap traders. Not saying you shouldn't play the stock, but you should at least know its a shit company. After a major spike like this on no news its going to pop back down to .5. If someone buys on open tomorrow they will get butt fucked
>>
>>1331687
The only caveat I will say, is if the biofuel industry gets a government subsidy so they can compete with oil, this stock will go up 1000x. But its easy to see why that won't ever happen
>Big oil has too much money in politics and control over legislation
>You really think Trump or Hillary gives two shits about the environment?

Nope, gonna be another four years of pumping oil for sure

>>
>>1331741
You won't see profits from that until 2017 probably.

Maybe everyone needs to read this post because there has been some misinformation about $CERU on here
>$CERU is almost entirely on one drug
>There is nothing on the FDA calender for that drug until 12/31/16. That's right, december
>The end of month news that people have been shilling about is actually on the FDA calender for June 2017. Not sure who or how someone made that mistake.

Full disclosure, I bought $500 worth of $CERU shares a month ago and have it sitting in my etrade account. I am not touching it until FDA approval, and I expect to see that some time in 2017.

Stock of company being bought goes down and the stock of the acquiring company goes up. You want to short the company being acquired early on like right as the news breaks. Pick up the acquiring company then sell after the deal is finished for a nice profit. Obviously do your own due diligence and research though.

cash is liquid. liquidating is selling for cash. Which in light of Brexit isn't going to help in the long run if the USD falls in the toilet.
>>
>>1331942

To see your assets for money. Cash money is considered liquid capitol because it is ready to spend where as stocks, bonds, land, ect... is considered frozen because you have to go through steps of selling it before you can get to the cash. So when you see liquidating it means you are converting to cash.

So I gave each company about 10 minutes of research, quickly got the vibe that this is a long term diversified portfolio, and I think its a good one.
$WDC is going to be a great long hold,
>but this next quarterly report (I think 8/3) might be very bad because of the cost associated with the SanDisk acquisition. You might want to consider selling before the report comes back out and then buying back in on (what I think will be) a major dip.
$NYLDA and $PEGI
>meh. I don;t like holding companies ($NYLDA), too many things that affect your stock to pay attention to them all. But I think for you its just a blatent bet on alternative energy companies which is cool. I studied alt. energy when I was working on my degree and I don't have enough faith in solar/wind to place my long term investments on them but we'll see what the future holds. Good to have a bet against oil though just for diversity. Warning: do your research on seasonal wind variation for PEGI. They havent changed operations at all since last quarter and last quarter they lost money. This stock could fall again in early august with another bad earnings report. The only reason I'm thinking "maybe it'll be better this quarter" is seasonal variation in wind patterns in the Americas
$UTX solid, not going anywhere anytime soon
$SBS
>I didnt even know this was possible. I don't see how this stock could ever go terribly wrong. Safe long bet, just keep your eye on politics/weather/economy in brazil
$PBR

$RIO, again solid long term bet

It would be prudent wait till after the vote for Britain to exit the EU is announced. Unless you are really confident as to what direction these stocks are going to go.
>>
>>1331994

I'm not liquidating. I feel pretty good about what I have and it doesn't fit my plan to sell everything. If a major crash starts I might sell but I have been around for a bit and found these sky is falling predictions rarely pan out. But if you are concerned just watch a bit. There is always a moonmission and there are always cheap stocks. If you stay off a day or two it won't matter much.
>>
>>1331809

I doubt it will be much. The biggest threat is that companies use dividend from other companies as income. So if a US holding has an EU holding for dividends it might throw off its business model.

My real concern is the summer sell off and the August dip. Middle of next month is when folks are going to start cashing in their college funds and folks are going to be taking profits. But that is weeks away.

Being poorfags, we should buy as much of the cheapest gold stock as we can.

Ride that wave

You don't have a whole lot to lose, they're only 0.30 and so far haven't caught everyone's attention.

The trick to finding meme rockets before they lift off is look for a catalyst and try and buy as much as you can before other people start to catch on and drive up the price.

Now's the best time to at least put a little risk capital in it.

>>
>>1332392

>>
>>1332392
Idk, I'm not really and expert, I just make most of my gains off of gold when there are downturns and oil when things are doing good. So I can at least talk about those two industries with some experience (about 4 years of trading them).

this post was the reason I liquidated today.
>>
IMO after the dust is settled (no pun intended) I could see CMG down insanely as I feel like all stocks that are seen as artifically pumped are going to die.

CMG TSLA and NFLX are due for 20%.

As shit as Chipotle is at 200 dollars it would be a total steal. I like Netflix at about 78, TSLA feels like freefall people are going to be tired of its bullshit so fast, might reach its low of year again which means you can get a great deal in the 140s.

(This is all just my opinion of course, don't meme it up too hard, I think we are all tired of losing money)

all the same. GLD is the most active gold etf, but there are others equally as good and every single one of them will be fucking nutso with volume...prepare

My major holdings are yahoo and CERU, neither of which I see being effected. Yahoo is being pumped to a 5 billion dollar buy out and CERU is stalled with few folks wanting to trade. If either fall 10% I'll evaluate but I am holding for right now seeing what happens.
>>
So what are we buying tomorrow mornin lads?
>>
>>1332501

it's not even that. dust can go up even if gold goes up. dust follows gold miner index 3x. this thing will plummet with gold spiking. i'm talking -30-40% minimum opening tomorrow if brexit happens
>>
>>1332494
since robinhood has no PM trading I think it'd be best to find a gold EFT that tends to lag behind the rest. If that's even possible. Not even sure if it works that way.
