so assuming this is for everybody getting out of college, how immeasurably fucked are we? assuming this won't be resolved, what will end up happening to the economy? does the gap just grow indefinitely? it literally fees like serfdom.

Social Security will be gone and most social programs will be overloaded by the number of unemployed and the exponential increase in illegal immigration that is currently being pushed
There will eventually be a crazy socialist president like Bernie and we'll end up having stocks and index funds heavily taxed, so the market will be cut off for most of the middle class
They're also going to be in debt for so long due to college loans, housing bubble, and their retarded car loans and apple products, that they won't be able to take advantage of compound interest or have any real equity

Try joining a trade union, OP. I'm working as a union Pipefitter apprentice, and I made around 35 - 40k last year as a second to third year apprentice. About to jump up to 20.95 an hour in August.
