This. It will lock you out of your money occasionally due to server errors and fatal bugs (just ask /rgt/ about Monday) and is in general not nearly the quality of a "real broker" but all that said you get what you pay for.

If you're poor or don't want to invest much RH is a godsend. Just do your research and if you ever decide to invest "real money" (>3k like the anon said) don't stick with RH.

RH is great for learning how to invest (/rtg/ is all speculation) with a small amount of money.

My advice is that if you're going to invest that little of an amount of money, you need to imagine that you are essentially throwing that money away. If you don't shy away and are happy throwing that money away, get RH and have fun. Otherwise don't waste your money, keep your blood pressure low, and save up some 1k and put it in mutual funds.
