An uncle I barely knew died. I apparently have a trust fund now.
I get $1000 a month till I'm 30, and then I have access to the assets, which are mostly dividend yielding stocks and some accumulated dividends.

I'm a NEET with no qualifications, so this is pretty much manna from heaven.
But what should I do with it?

I'm already planning to move to a cheaper place like Southeast Asia or Eastern Europe, so I should be able to live well on it, but I don't want to just slowly drain my inheritance. In these circumstances, what should I do to increase my income?

same thing here did; invest it. it matters where in the world you are going, but foreign markets are just as lucrative.

government bonds if the country you are going to is over B grade by the Fitch or another investment grading agency, if not go for Funds.

as he said, you can always go for foreign trading, but it's more expensive

also educate yourself and then diversify based on your knowledge

get a job so you aren't just eating your inheritance and spending it on useless trinkets.

Listen to these words of wisdom OP. Since you are a NEET it might take you 8-10 years of working to the top mastering a profession you go in but if you have a competitive spirit and balls you won't have to work past 30.

Lucky son of a bitch you are but don't squander it and educate yourself thoroughly. /biz/ has a shit ton of meme stocks and business incentives that could either fuck you over or make you the richest out of all of us. Learn which ones are actually good and play by that.

You need learning materials for investing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARrNYyJEnFI

Best of luck to you OP and don't let someone fuck you in the ass.

how old are you now?

Whenever I go to southeast Asia I get so many ideas about small businesses to start with my local version of extreme wealth and outlandish ideas. Seriously, if you backpack around these places for a while, you'll think of something.

Until then, I'm unsure what I'd recommend for buying opportunities. I'm mostly in stocks but you may want to hold off a year, we're overdue for a proper correction.

I have respect for the professions now that I know better, but it's too late for me. In any case, I'm more inclined to humanities and marketing than highly specialised fields.

I calculate that I can save $500 dollars a month while living in a studio apartment and taking taxis and eating in restaurants on a regular basis. I can also afford to have all my clothes washed and dried by a laundry, and could have a maid come in once a week. This would be in somewhere like Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila, or Saigon.

30 full days of labor or research time, an internet connection, and $500 dollars, which would have a local purchasing power of close to $2000 in wages and local or Asian-produced goods. Repeat every month. What sort of projects could I start?
