i just got a job again after being unemployed for a month already. i have to work from 8am-5pm. i want to know how to survive a 8-5 work shift?

my old job gave me a great shift. i worked 3PM-1:30AM 4 days a week. my new job i work 5 days again. i havent worked one of those in a long time.

7:30-4:10, 9 days a fortnight, paid day off every second Friday.
I usually leave home around 7 and get home before 4.

Don't do this, when you drink coffee regularly you'll very quickly end up feeling exactly the same as you normally would have after having coffee and worse before you do.
You're better off just not having regular coffee.

Monday to Friday, 8.15-5. Its tough at first after going from unemployment, but in a few weeks it will all feel normal.
