Why do people on 4chan say that becoming a welder will make you a lot of money? They barely make 40,000 dollars a year. That's not a lot of money.

I believe that you have to work in a state where there are strong unions. In those places, experienced welders make quite a bit of money.

There is a welding school in my town.. but I look in the papers I see maybe 1 welding job... so wtfbbqsauce. WHY?
