Ausfag here, both Canada and us were forced out of many trade deals with Britain, A lot is due to pressure from European agriculture (among other industries). Just find the trade deals that were cut and if its reasonable to assume they're still the most competitive, its probably a smart investment.

I agree, and that's actually my long term goal. But it'll take a while for those contracts to get set up again, and if our governments aren't complete shit, they'll want to renegotiate now that they're in a stronger position. Short term though, I was wondering seeing if any stocks in out markets would see a bump. I was thinking gold and silver, with (short term) housing investments.
