So, I have the opportunity to relocate to any state in the United States save for Hawaii. What state should I move to? Why? I'm currently in Texas. I posted this in /trv/ already, but I'm wondering which states and cities would have strong economies. I already live in Austin, but I'm not sure I want to stay.
Bump
I've heard that Texas has the best job market of any state, but I haven't been there. I live in the midwest, good area to raise a family but not much growth or excitement.

Compared to Cali, maybe. Which is probably why Cali pepole are driving up the rent and property taxes.
My rent's gone up 27% since 2014, and my parents' property taxes around 15% in a single year.
