No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

I'm trying to invest in disney using robin hood. I have 100 dollars available to spend and disney stock is ~98$. Why won't robin hood let me buy? In a cash account, a free riding violation occurs when the investor sells a stock that was purchased with unsettled funds.
The Federal Reserve Board's Regulation T requires brokers to "freeze" accounts that commit freeriding violations for 90 days. Accounts with this restriction can still trade but cannot purchase stocks with unsettled sale proceeds (stocks take three days to settle).

So this is gonna be a two-poster shill. I have decided to share my research with you folks about why I’m all in on $CLF. Here's the skinny:

Cliff Natural Resources specializes in mining iron ore mainly for steel production. The company also mines North American Coal. They have been in business since the 1800’s.

The next resistance is at ~$5.72 (pivot point, May 2) and I’ll tell you quickly why we’ll blow through that. Over the weekend prior to May 2, 1Q2016 results were released and earnings ($36million) were down 30% from 1Q2015. So the stock fell on a catalyst, bad 1Q results, and after bottoming out at <$3/share. After this drop however came the good news I mentioned above. The stock has been on a steady climb back up to $5/share with no signs of slowing.

Here’s the secret, iron-ore pellet prices are up (which is what CLF is mining), back to 2008 levels and rising. (but don’t be fooled by May 2008 share price, there was a billion dollar merger that CLF decided to back out of). I don’t care if you listen to me or not, I will monitor thread for questions but I’m going to sit on this stock for a long time and I normally don’t do that. Steel prices are expected to rise into April as well. This may not be fast rocket, but there’s reason in my mind why this thing isn’t going to 6.95 resistance and if iron ore pellet prices continue the current trend 8.62 resistance is next. This week we went up $1.20 the day news came out, .$.10 over next two days (resistance point), $.33 cents yesterday and $.40 cents today at 6/2. I encourage you to analyze the candlesticks. There has been almost no resistance.

I will stop shilling the stock now, but I’ll probably screencap my gains cuz its kinda like masturbation for the ego when you’re right about something. I’m going to go back and look at history quarter reports to try to figure out where the true ceiling is gonna be.

Do you happen to know where their coal mines are located? The difference in btus between Appalachian coal and Powder River Basin is huge if I'm not mistake

I'm sorry, that was an oversight on my part. In December 2015 sold their mines to Seneca Coal Resources. They had a mine in West Virginia and one in Alabama. I'm assuming those would be Anthracite (the good stuff) mines as both states are on the Appalachians.

The good stuff is the Wyoming PRB Coal. I thought I remembered CLF selling their coal assets when I was following Peabody's drawn out trip into the trashcan. Probably a positive to be out of coal right now though
I have a feeling $HUSA will gap up in the morning and rocket up toward $0.35-0.40 before crashing back down to the open price. The exact same thing happened about a week and a half ago.
