About to start my internship at an investment bank tomorrow.
Does /biz/ have any tips or wisdom for such an occasion?
how did you get the internship?

I already had several, this is my last one.
I just kick ass at interviews, I guess. I made a popular guide that was posted on /biz/, reddit (inb4) a few months back for internship interviews.

I'm a mechanical engineer who wants to get into investment banking. I've applied to so many IB internship positions but I never hear anything back.
Can you help a familia out by passing my name onto some of your contacts?

What location are you in?
What experience do you have?
Why do you have an interest in IB?
Engineers are definitely wanted in banking/IB/finance, the good ones of course.

I'm a Canadian originally from Toronto. I'm in Michigan right now working in the auto industry. I graduated in December 2015 and have been working as a mechanical engineer ever since. I also have a couple of other engineering internships.
I'm mainly interested in IB because I've been involved with some project management a bit and I seem to like the finance side of things a lot... If I'm being honest I'm just starting to do research about IB and I don't know a whole lot about it yet, but it seems like something I would enjoy more than engineering.
