First time on /biz/, and I want to ask you guys, how can I start a tobacco company of some sort? I've always been interested in business, but I've never decided to really pursue it before. Do you guys have any advice you can give me? And perhaps maybe just not a cigarette company, but perhaps I could create other products as well. I have lot's of interesting ideas, but I'm not sure to even where I should begin.
Can you guys help me out?

Motto sounds gay desu
Well the first question is
Do you have a tax id number?

Agree. I've come up with brand names for a million dollar product and I would say a better one is "never take off your kneepads"

Sounds dope. I feel like you could sell them at a massive markup and hipsters would buy it if you marketed that as a special blend.

If you want to have any chance you HAVE to target remote Asian villages. If you try to market to Europe or Norther/South-America you'll be dead in a year. Asia is your only shot at a big market, but the competition is so fierce that your chances are still pretty slim.

Anon I've been smoking cigarettes for 5 years now (25 y.o) and smoke about 2 packs a day. I recently switched to unfiltered and I have smoked a wide range of low end and premium cigarettes, I started with Marlboro Red then Camel Blue then Lucky Strike (have to go specialty shop in Britain) then Camel Unfiltereds, Sobranies, Ziganovs, Gitane, Treasurers, Davidoff, Dunhill, and finally Senior Service. People often ask me if I'm worried I'll get cancer from smoking, I've always answered saying no, but I think your cigarettes packaging could be the most effective cancer warning I have ever seen.
Seems like anon is late to the party for cigarette industry. Your only hope for market share would be undeveloped countries or creating a new type of tabacco product.
