Would it hurt buying one stock for shits and giggles? Mind you I am 19 years old.

Kroger Co. has all their stock information here, including quarterly results, check them out and form your opinion

Looks pretty comfy desu
The grocery business is cutthroat and margins are very slim. Kroger is trying to go upscale from Wal-Mart but stay more utilitarian than Central Market or Whole Foods and that's a fine line to walk. Even with the depressed price recently the dividend looks like shit which tells me they aren't feeling as flush as they look perhaps.
Methinks this might be a trap.
Never been to a proper Kroger store, but there's a Ruler Food's place in my town. It's a subsidiary and has really good prices and a decent amount of food offerings.
I prefer heb

compared to a walmart supercenter in terms of variety and price, none. these fucks jacked up their prices near my college compared to other krogers in my city. never shopping there again. I hate jews

makes sense, the Kroger Company has been buying up a lot of stores in different specializations in an effort to diversify

I go to Kroger to buy milk, but I buy everything else at Walmart. You can easily save at least a dollar or two on the same items by shopping at Walmart instead of Kroger, though Kroger has much better produce.
